Welcome to our Space!
PURPOSE:
This wiki is intended to provide teachers of Pacific languages in Auckland, New Zealand with a forum for discussion, sharing resources, professional reading and inspiration. As a wikispace, active participation is encouraged. So please don't just browse, but add your own content to it as well - don't be shy!
As you know, MoE goals around Pacific education are grouped around the themes of:
Presence
Engagement
Achievement
The various pages in this wiki have been structured around these themes. Obviously, not every reading or resource will fit neatly into any one category but give it a go -'best fit' and all that. I've inserted pages that I thought might be a useful starting point but being a wiki feel free to add what you think will be useful. You'll also note that it ain't that pretty so if you want to smarten it up a bit, give that a go too.
We will endeavour to run a couple of sessions, one for South Auckland and the other for Central/West to go over some basics of uploading resources to wiki, discussion forum etc for those who need it. For the ICT-savvies, please use the link to guide your journey into Wikispaces. It is so simple!
